Schools accepting TOEFL Score New Zealand
International Students whose first language is not English seeking admission for study in New Zealand may require to submit proof of English Proficiency. If you are a non-native speaker TOEFL Score may be helpful; its valid for both study and immigration purposes.
TOEFL is standardized test of English and offered worldwide including in New Zealand. The test is administered by Educational Testing Services (ETS).
To help measure English proficiency at different stages in life TOEFL has different tests. A child can start taking TOEFL test as soon as he / she attains 8 years of age. Following given different levels of TOEFL test.
TOEFL Score is accepted by all universities in New Zealand and New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) for Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs) and Private Training Establishments (PTEs). Candidates applying for higher studies in New Zealand can submit TOEFL iBT Score to institutions. The TOEFL iBT score is accepted for work visa too. Minimum score requirement is 79 or higher to apply for Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa.
